Dr. Jens Hartmann is Co-Director of the „Center for Molecular Orthopaedics and Regenerative Medicine (CEMOR)“. He co-developed the Regenokine Program with Dr. Wehling over many years.
He focuses on the integration of joint and spine pain, cartilage destruction, sports medicine, imaging and newest advances in molecular orthopedics and biology.
Dr. Hartmann translates this knowledge into patient care and specific treatment. The central goal of his activity is the transformation of OA treatment from pure pain treatment to a more causative approach and prevention of progression.
He also promotes individualizied medicine in treating his patients by using genetic and phenotypic markers to apply the best possible treatment option.
An important outcome of his approach is a strong decrease of performing surgery in orthopedics.
